It's about timing bro. It is a bit of a challenge but they made the goalies more reactive and smarter to provide a more fluid game. It is frustrating at times but it makes hockey more life-like. Play the goalies in the lower leagues and you'll see they are far easier to beat.

It's tough to deke in this game but once you master the new 5 / 7 o'clock offensive stick moves, you're going to score a lot more on dekes.
