thanks for the input everyone. I will take a look at those boards and cpus tomorrow. I have already bought my videocard as i saw a really good deal on a 9800gx2 :). In regards tot he raid. Yes i need the raid. I fellow coworker of mine did this and gets a sickening good performance out of it. Say 17 files being unrared at 100mb/s :).
anyway it's late and i am still mad at myself, grrr.
One question is there any reason i shouldn't consider the Q6600 as it's pretty decently priced at 215 currently.
