Default Dr. B's TtMFR

AKA the circuit I use to change the front panel lighting on my case. Not really a guide, just the basic schematic and the parts list.

TtMFR Parts List

Nichia NSTM515AS Full Colour LED, Common Anode
3pcs 500R Potentiometer, Carbon, Linear (Digikey # CT2201-ND)
2pcs 150R Resistor
1pc 68R Resistor
3pcs SPST of SPDT Toggle switches (Digikey # CKN1066-ND)
Misc connectors for power and if you want to remove it easily.
3pcs Knob, Clr. Matte, .5” Dia. .125” Shaft (Digikey # 226-3010-ND)
Proto Board
¼” Lexan or Plastic for backing material
5.25 or 3.5 cover plate from your case.

These pics show an addtional 3 channel fan controller as well as connectors for internal case lighting.

The LED's were about $20US each when I first got them several years ago, but there should be much cheaper full colour diodes available now. The fixed resistors values may have to be tweaked to use a different LED. I use 4 LED's to light up my front panel, and they're wired in paralell.

Folding? If you're not doing it, you should ask about how to.
