Since moving to Vista I soon realized the file search has been… ummm, it sucks now! This tool works well, you can search for text within files. http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/File-Management/Qytec-File-Seeker.shtml Edit: Okay, maybe you better be careful with this one, I think whoever wrote it was in previous employment of MS, Norton or McAfee. Its got a nasty habit of being “helpful” and sits in the background scanning files even when you turn the option off. I like it, but I’m one click away from uninstalling it.
