Didn't you know all your Internet explorer / explorer movements were tracked too, not only that, in hidden files that are not deletable from windows nor viewable from dos.
They track images viewed, urls, name , etc.

I don't see how using "search" information that would normally be recorded using google.com anyway is an invasion of privacy at all.
As said , blaming a company for complying with a government, which any company would be forced to do too isn't something to be worried about
