But really, isn't this a prob with the gov that people need to address. Not the fact google is looking to improve search relevance from the new browser.

Remember google was the ones who just sent a nice document about how traffic shaping by bell is an invasion of privacy and is illegal.
Bell's internet throttling illegal, Google says
I know where google stands when it comes to our rights.
For me personally Google have crossed the line with this ,it is a complete invasion of privacy (a sneaky one at that).
Do you really think that if the average joe knew google tracked their movements and basically were spying on them they would be ok with it?
I know where google will be standing also.......Nowhere near any of my systems thats for sure.
Try this - Goto Google and do a search for Google and the RIAA, you get page after page of how google is against the RIAA and how they have fought them, then try the same search on yahoo or Live you will get very different results ,try it and see.

When using the same search with yahoo or live the top result is an answer to a question about RIAA's budget and followed by articles about google giving up information to the gov and RIAA.

see for yourself ;)

Stinks of fish to me!
