The prices for the ATI 4850 seem to be around $190's, and the only time you gonna get a price of $170 is when they go on sale, either the price is reduced or they have a mail in rebate.

Best bet is to look for deals, like the one that was linked to futureshop like the 9800+ for $170. I also do have an XFX 8800GTS 512mb alpha dog edition, the one that SKY reviewed couple of months back, it was one hell of a card few months back, imo its still a descent card if you see. We can work on a good deal. Its used, but its in mint condition.

Only problem you'll have buying it online is that you'd have to pay taxes on top, and adding shipping charges on to it, really makes it over the budget, that doesn't happen all the time, unless you pick something not too expensive.

But I'll still stick with the choice of a 4850 card, if you can get it for under $200 with taxes (original price and no rebates), your getting hek of a card, at the moment its the best bang for the buck.
