I'm having a very similar problem trying to get a 3870X2 to run in CF with reg 3870. Half the time when I power up the system the screen is black from post onwards. If the speakers are on you can hear the music when vista starts up. I tried everything in the book, including going back to an older bios for the mobo. If I can't get this rockin' soon I might start a new thread asking for help.
