Default New Gaming Rig (Overwhelmed, Advice Welcome)

Hi guys. I've been scouring the internet for awhile for a new computer and I'm feeling completely overwhelmed. Luckily I stumbled on this site (thank you Google!). I'd really appreciate any advice you guys want to give. I need pretty much every part and as I noticed in some of the other threads ordering the pieces from NCIX then doing price match and getting them to assemble it seems like a good option. Cheers!

P.S. I'd like an easily upgradeable system as well if possible.

1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.

--> Gaming (MMORPG more than single player games) first and foremost secondary activities movies and music.

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread.

--> $1500-$1700 cdn.

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.

--> Canada.

4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc, etc, etc, you get the picture.

--> I have no brand preference, just want the best fit.

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.

--> Not using any old parts.

6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.

--> I've looked on some threads in here as well as other sites and I'm feeling quite overwhelmed with all the different components and choices.

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.

--> Default I suppose since I'm not too confident with my computer skills.

8. WHEN do you plan to build it?

--> Within the next 3 months.
