there must be something in the MB start up check list that's stopping it from posting but it remains a mystery.
Yesterday, while checking every connection with the MB's manual, I found that the speaker wire was not connected on the MB leads (orange part of the panel section if I remember right). I guess it's not my problem since I don't think it was ever connected and the computer was working well before. However, I may hear interesting diagnostic bleeps if I connect it ... | If you hook up the speaker and hear nothing when you turn it on your board is dead or shorted.
