It's the SPD. I had 333mhz sticks, absolutely no issues...all the way up and above 1066mhz...then also still have 1066 set, it had major issues until I flashed SPD from 333mhz sticks, no boot, unstable, etc, even @ 800mhz.

Funny then, after mentioning this to someone, about 3 weeks later Micron has a new revision of sticks. And lo' and behold, most of the issues with certain chipsets are gone...


Anway, if you call up Micron, they'll gladly swap 'em out for some sticks that WILL WORK with your board...the new revision, of course. Usually takes a week to get new sticks back(5 business days) if you send it to them by 2-day air...
