Sorry, I should have been more specific, those temps are ambient inside the case.
The CPU is up in the 50’s idle and 65+ loaded @1280x1024.
When I set to 1920x1200, well, we’re cooking…..
I’m pretty sure the shutdown temp is 80C on the PentiumD.
The more I think about it, the more it makes sense, more pixels means the
CPU has to work harder, more traffic over the FSB/NB, and GPU works harder.
