Hi all i managed to fit a new 8800 gt in my HP yesterday morning all but for the grace of god... anyways I am wondering if I should crank the speed on stock cooling up wih Riva tuner, just to be safe. I know people have been doing that with the 4850's but I don't know if its neccesary for the 8800. And a mystery for you guys if you want to help... I had a "mishap" with a driver cleaner and it cleaned a few drivers right out of existence. Since then 2 of the 3 cleaned drivers are back and working great now. The third driver though downloaded and installed is giving me grief. My computer recognizes my Deathadder as a USB compliant mouse. But the actualy Deathadder driver tells me I don't have a DA hooked up to my system. its frustrating. any idea or help would be appreciated. And if any admins are reading this I started an almost identical thread in the Off Topic section and if it could be erased it would be good. Sorry for the trouble I just realised afterwards no-one would see it there.
