Ever see what alchohols do to acrylic ? they don't assist in cleaning , they assist in reducing the acrylic into a pile of splintered bits.
If there was ever a case of 'materials incompatibility' it's acrylic and iso.
If I can find a piece of acrylic laying around , I'll show you.It's actually quite amazing.
