Then right next to it is 4gb of pc2 6400 reaper x at 800 mhz but with lower latency OCZ 4GB PC2-6400 ReaperX HPC Enhanced Bandwidth (2x2GB) - Aria Technology, and it costs £84.54($171.39 . Which one should I get? Bearing in mind mushkins are very hard to get this side of the atlantic, are there any better ones I should get, or even 2gb of very fast ddr2 instead? Finally can my motherbord (asus p5q deluxe) support PC2 8000? Thanks for any help.

Edit: If I get 4gb will I need a 64 bit os?
Yes, the P5Q should have no problems with that RAM. What CPU are you running, and do you plan on overclocking it? If it's a dual-core(especially Wolfdale), then definitely get the PC2-8000...if it's a quad, then high FSB's aren't as likely and you could get away with the 6400. Actually, i'd say in either case, get the 8000..it's cheaper.. and rated for 1000MHz. Timings aren't as important as RAM-speed...though in all likelyhood, both sets will probably perform very similarly. GL
