If the cooler is outside...maybe there is better cooling! ...more fresh air compare to tha air inside...
A lot of stuff makes it better. Bigger tubing, stronger pumps, way better\bigger radiators, better coolant etc...

Having the set-up external dosen't mean that it's better lol! Internal set-ups gets cold air from outside the comp... lol Take a look at my radiator... It's on the bottom of my stacker. So, it pulls cold air from the outside of the case. My case is on wheels so there is way enough air flow for the fans to pull cold air.

Trust me. Customs internal watercooling set-ups are way better!
