My System Specs

Keep in mind that these benchmarks are COMPLETELY situational. They are dependent on hardware/software/binning for OC/patches and drivers at the time of review/etc. Also, gaming performance does not translate in to real world performance. (day to day operation, OS, compression, file transfer, etc.)

At the end of the day, there's no doubt that Intel is winning the race between these two, and there's also no doubt that AMD offers some excellent value performance. (Especially when you factor in the cheaper MB prices for AMD.) But it all comes down to your budget, system uses, and personal preference. That's why reviewers at HWC make such an effort to be neutral and test a full spectrum of games and software. Then it's up to the consumer to determine what best fits your requirements and budget.
