I went back to mechanical for gaming simply because it works better. You don't get the 3-4 button max simultanious keys problem with mechanical. AKA USB to PS2 adapter for "N key rollover" function, eliminates ghost keys. If you are a FPS gamer you pretty much can't compete without a decent mechanical imo.

I can take a game jewel case and depress as many keys as it will touch and they will all type simultaniously... standard USB keyboards can't do this not even the ultra high end usb keyboards can do what a mechanical can.

black cherry key switches are loud but last the longest.

ThermalTake Meka G1 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard w/ Detachable Wrist Rest at Memory Express I bought this one... it has 2x usb plugins. One is for the ps2 port and one is for the USB ports on the back of the key board... handy for charging phones etc.
