I don't think it could handle a tri fire set up, I used one for a pair of 9800GTX's in SLI and it worked great. I would think you would need 1000w for tri-fire or maybe the 850w would work, I'd have to check the specs or maybe one of the other members would know more since I haven't built a tri set up...yet!
