Post Low End Budget Build, Help me out.

Hey guys. I am a console player trying to switch over to the pc world. However, I am a student so I have a budget. Anyway I have some hardware already chosen and I'm just looking for some opinions on anything i can improve. I will be using this pc mainly for gaming. Mainly games like Call of Duty, MOH, BF3 etc. I would be more than happy playing at 720p. I will also use it for a little editing using sony vegas pro 11. I already have a monitor, a mouse/keyboard, a harddrive that i bought and never used, and I also have a copy of Windows XP, I will upgrade to Windows 7 when my budget allows for it. I plan on building this in a month or so. I apologize in advance if these components aren't compatible with each other, I did a lot of research though. So anyway, here's what I've got...

Motherboard: ECS P67H2-A2 Black Deluxe Motherboard - Socket H2 (LGA1155), Intel P67 Express, DDR3-2133MHz (O.C.), SATA 6.0 Gb/s, RAID, SLI/CrossFireX Ready, Dual Gigabit LAN, USB 3.0 -$74.99 on Tiger Direct

Memory: Kingston HyperX Black KHX16C9B1BK2/8 8GB Desktop Memory Module Kit - DDR3, 2x4GB, CL9, DIMM, 1600MHz, 240 Pin, Unbuffered, 1.65V -$44.99 on Tiger Direct

Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K BX806237i53570K Processor, Quad Core(3.4 GHz) -$219.99 on Tiger Direct
(I went a little extra on this because it makes it a little more "Future Proof." I will overclock this when I get an aftermarket cooler when budget allows)

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 650 (1GB GDDR5) -$99.99 on Tiger Direct
(Not sure about this. Might need something a little better.)

Sound Card: I will use the motherboards onboard audio. Good audio is for squares. -$0.00

Power Supply: Thermaltake TR-600 TR2 ATX Power Supply - 600W, 120mm Fan, Cable Managment Optimized -$49.99 on Tiger Direct

CD/DVD Drive: LG Internal 24X DVD Rewriter - SATA Interface, 2MB Buffer, 12x DVD-RAM, 48x CD-R (GH24NS50) -$15.99 on Tiger Direct

Case: Cool Master Elite 310 Mid-Tower Case - ATX/Micro ATX, 4x Ext 5.25", 1x Ext 3.5", 6x Int 3.5", 2x USB 2.0 Ports, 1x Mic, 1x Audio, Black/Red (RC-310-RWN1-GP RED) - OEM -$9.99 on Tiger Direct

Total: $515.93 USD
Tell me if you have any suggestions to make this better. I would like to stay around $500 but I will go up to $600 if necessary.
