good audio is good audio, whether its for movies, music, game etc. Putting gaming in the name is just a marketing gimmick to get you to buy it.

Headsets (usually) don't have great audio, Id recommend you spend about 100 dollars on a good pair of headphones and then buy a cheap 5 dollar zalman clip on mic.
I've been using these for years, SONY - Studio Monitor Series Stereo Headphones (MDR-V600) - Newegg.com and the frequency response is amazing, can wear them for hours. I highly recommend a good set of over the ear type with the 5-30khz range. On the ear type makes my ears burn after just a few minutes. Of course the ear pads on the V600 fall apart after a couple years but there's cheap aftermarket replacements. I think you convinced me to buy a cheap mic and keep going.
