I would suggest waiting till you actually want to game..
You'll always get better bang for your buck with newer tech and if your not really going to be using it till those games are released then wait till just before to build (no idea when they will be released)
Also GPU requirements for 1080 to 1440 are not insignificant.. Decide on monitor first IMO.
Other option I would suggest is looking for something second-hand. Might be able to find an itx board and a 2500k and maybe a 6950 or similar for your budget.
