His sig says he has 16GB think he is covered and I was having this issue with 32GB's of ram and even saw it on my main rig with 64gb of ram both systems when upgraded to a SSD (one OCZ Vertex III the other Corsair Neutron GT) the issue Was gone in 90% of games I still see random slow downs here and there in badly coded games like Fallout.
Also have see this when my paging file was to large as well.
