I had thought that might be it, but (albeit hard to see in that picture) the completely straight run of tubing between CPU and GPU ended up with the same kind of twist despite being a couple inches long and damn near straight. Either way, those two runs were replaced with the last bit of Feser tubing I had and they're holding up perfectly.
