BTW, they don't guarantee a refresh rate above 60Hz for any of their monitors despite overclocking claims.
I used to have a Dell 2709W. 1920x1200 and 27".

I have an Overlord Tempest X270OC. The 120hz improves mouse and screen smoothness, but in terms of blur reduction it's a let-down. I feel that these are not overdriven panels because motion blur is worse than the other 27" 2560x1440 monitors I've used.. In addition, tearing at this resolution is less of a problem due to needing a super-rig to get 120hz at 2560x1440 without seriously reducing eye candy. There's no lag on this, but I didn't care so much about a little lag, as I did blur reduction.

Alternatively the "zero motion blur" thread over on [H] has shown me an LCD experience that is 98% as good as CRT for motion blur reduction using my BenQ XL2420T and lightboost. I actually bought a second GTX 670 to get my rig as close to 120hz as I can to maximize this benefit. But I digress.....

Another worthy competitor is the Viewsonic VP2770-LED. Factory calibrated as well and uses a Samsung PLS panel.
