With a decent SSD you can have pretty damn fast boot times anyway..
after all the BIOS stuff my machine takes about 5 - 7 sec to get to log-in and is 100% usable withing 2 seconds of logging in.
Obviously this will depend on what you have set to start on boot (for me it's Steam, skype MSN and chrome with about 10 tabs open.)
