Plus, I just bought a used 990FX sabertooth, so I want to do that board justice!
I'm kind of in the same boat. I bought a Crosshair V with an EK waterblock a while back and I'd hate to ditch it. The other thing is that running eyefinity and one 7970, I don't think there's any bottleneck at all. The key to overclocking AMD processors and achieving big performance gains is increasing the CPU-NB. A lot of people just increase the CPU speed and call it a day, thinking they've done all they need to and leaving the rest alone. This week the FX-8350 is on sale at NCIX for $190 and because of that I have a hard time seeing where the benefits are in switching to Intel unless I was offered a smoking deal. I'm close to pulling the trigger for a Vishera.
