I've been playing Civ 4 since it came out (2006ish?) almost everyday nonstop. Even for a whole long weekend. With my friends the PS2 version of PES (2 vs. 2), and Starcraft2 on PC. On the go I play Final fantasy remakes on my Ipad. I don't enjoy other games much but I do play the new ones but not to the end. I manage to fit all this gaming in less than 3 hours a day. Still have plenty of time left dedicated to my work and lovely wife.
The trick is not to give your loved ones a chance to criticize you by giving them all your attention when you are together. Ofcourse I don't have kids so that's a whole other story that I don't think would allow me to continue this way.
