Wow!? Really? I've been gaming since the 70's. I always managed to hold a job have a family etc. Your not one of those people that believe guns are to blame for gun violence are you?
It sounds more like people need to get their priorities straight/self-discipline than anything else.
Gaming should be a hobby, and nothing more. There are plenty of people that have hobbies outside of work/family, come to think of it......for
