The NB should not be anywhere near 60c at stock FSB voltages and speed. I get those kind of temps when NB is at 450MHz+ and voltage is upped from 1.4 to 1.6v. Check that your BIOS isn't actually overvolting the chip.
Install
speedfan and see if you get better readings in software with that program. Check to see if your BIOS reports those temps as well. Currently, my FSB is set to 376MHz at 1.44v and temps in my negative pressure crappy case for the NB are ~48c.
