One thing I have to point out is that a 7850 is not an old card and even with 24/7 usage it should have plenty of life left in it..
Hell my old Nvidia 4800Ti is still on the go in one of my brothers media boxes and that must be 10 yrs old if it's a day. As is my old 7800GT and my last build has a 8800GT in it all going strong.

Give the fan and heatsink a good clean, if you run into any issues, RMA it.. it's less than a year old.. (don't take apart the heatsink before checking if it will void the warranty)

Also a soft brush(paintbrush is what I usually use) is about the best thing for getting the dust off fans and heatsinks
