My System Specs

This is very doable, but I am curious what your scenario is that you need to turn on the pc remotely...?

What you are looking for is a remote momentary switch. You don't want the receiver to supply any voltage, you just want it to momentarily short out the power pins on your mobo. Please don't use a switch that provides any power. A remote switch that provides power would be used for something like tuning on case lights or fans remotely either directly or via a relay.

Excuse my quick and terrible ms paint diagram. Basically just give it 12v input from any molex and then T the momentary outputs into your existing power button wires. This will allow you to use the remote or the power button on the case.
