It would be a lot easier just to send magic packets to your PC for it to turn on. I was working on something in the past that when your phone was connected to your wifi your computer would stay awake, and when it was disconnected from your wifi your computer would automatically turn off or go to sleep, but I don't have a wifi phone anymore so I dropped the project.
