i have a 25$ cm hyper 212 evo with dual fans running my 3770k @ 4.8 24/7 and the temps are ok.

i said 4.5 because most people can nearly auto volt to 4.5 and ivy only starts getting really hot after a certain amount of increased volts I've found it to run quite cool otherwise. its basically a threshold once you go past that threshold the temps don't scale linear anymore thus the whole ivy runs hot thing.

but i will say @ 4.7-4.8 my ivy stomps my 2500k @ 4.7 pretty handily in every bench/task or game I've played fps wise and work wise.
