If its worth more money is up to you. I would stick with the 3xxx from intel as the prices of the 2xxx aren't that much cheaper and are a touch more power hungry and slower. i3 3220 is on sale for $110 and an i5 3470 is $180. i5 3450 have been on sale for $150 for the last little while as well.
