I am going to go ahead and disagree on the 2gb idea. For $20 more you would be best served by going to a faster card (hd 7850 is only a bit more expensive and about 20% faster if I recall correctly). Monitor size has nothing to do with how much vram you need, only resolution matters. Worst case scenario with a 1gb card is you will have to turn AA down a bit. Given the graphics capability of the card you may have to do that from time to time to keep acceptable fps anyway.
