Nice review. I've always liked the work that ASUS puts into their power delivery systems. With ASUS, you're not just getting a fancy heatsink, you're getting a whole slew of items to help you squeeze performance out of your card.

I wonder though, how this compares in performance to the MSI Lightning? It runs a little hotter and a little cooler, does it perform a little better, too? I'd compare with your review of the lightning, but I think that was pre 12.11 drivers, so there's no point.
