I agreed with the comments here and thought the 32" was a good choice, but the 24" was chosen.

However, since no hdmi cables were available, the PC input and vga cables were used to test it as a monitor.

But, the resolution choices only go up to 1360 x 766 and 1366 x 768 (I think I got those right). What gives?

Is it the standard? I am sure that hdmi cable/input will allow for 1980 x 1020 but is there some reason it doesn't have native resolution with VGA input?
