It would help to know what you're using as a boot drive, secondary drive, etc.

If you're using an SSD as a boot drive with an HDD as a secondary drive, then no, there is really no point in partitioning.

Even with a larger boot HDD , unless you have some specialized usage (dual boot from one drive, maybe?) I don't see any point in partitioning anymore.
