My System Specs

Anybody who has a Deneb or a Thuban and wants to upgrade will probably have to move up to the 8350. That seems to be the only Vishera chip that offers any improvement across the board. If you already have a 9-series chipset, the new processor should just drop right in, negating the need for a motherboard upgrade. Now, it will be up to you whether the performance increase is worth the $200+shipping that you'll pay for an 8350. If you have $200 burning a hole in your pocket, I'd say, yeah, it may be worth upgrading. If $200 is something that you need to scrape together, the increased performance probably isn't worth it over an old 965 or 1090T
