Day Two of running Windows 8 Pro - still installing programs - slow internet via satellite makes updates take forever and every program wants me to update to the latest and greatest. Starting to get the hang of it. It did solve my problem of not recognizing all 32 GB of RAM - but still thinks it is 1333 Mhz and not 1600 Mhz - that too will come.
Had to create a
in order to load apps that's not right, I'm a google guy. Even though I told it I wanted Chrome as my default browser - I get pestered with messages that IE is now better. Sigh.
I did notice that AMD's Vision Engine Control Centre (Catalyst) has lost lots of its options - will probably have to reload that one. No longer see the options to configure my monitors or my video set up. Will have to find some other way to see if my dual graphics set up is still enabled. One more thing to re-set.
