Its features. The price is more linear in increase here. A quick look on newegg.ca and they are $141, $146, $178, $185...etc. Each time adding some features such as more pcie slots, more sata6 connectors, more usb connectors, displayport, wireless internet, esata, heatsinks on the VRM for better temps/ overclocking. You pay more you get more. If you don't need any of the additional features, then there is no reason to waste the money.
