My System Specs

Sometimes. It depends on whether the board is fully populated with NAND chips. Some manufacturers use the same size NAND chips for all their drive sizes and just vary how many they put on the board. eg, 4, 8, 12 or 16 chips. This affects the bandwidth of the throughput.

In all cases, I doubt you'd be able to tell the difference in real world day to day use. SSD's are so much faster than HDD's that's all you'll notice, rather than the incremental difference between SSD's.
