Both are great drives. The intel 520 has a 5 yr warranty, the intel toolbox and custom firmware. It also uses 16 NAND ICs.
The SanDisk Extreme has a 3yr warranty, uses std SandForce firmware and uses 8 NAND ICs. BUT its newer gen Toggle Mode NAND (and not ONFi 2 like Intel)....so the difference is actually pretty small in performance....both are extremely fast.

Honestly, if performance is the most important feature get the 520. If warranty is....get the 520. If price is number feature...the SanDisk Extreme is cheaper.
