you need to figure out what are your pci-e cables and for from there and the manual will help greatly with this.

But generally pci-e connectors will be a combination of 6 pins and a 6 pin with an extra 2 coming from the ground on the cable. I for radeon cards its advisable to use the 6 and 8 connectors to work properly.
