They are a set of hard drive coolers, I used on my old K7 rig. With my new case, I no longer needed them and they served the purpose. I used the fan mounting screws to connect them together.

It works real good too. Keeps the disk real cool (cooler than when in the case).

You can actually attach 2 drives and stand the ebit on it's side. I bought a hard drive dock to replace it, but the drive runs to hot, so I stick with the homey contraption. It's quite quiet as well.
