When you start thinking i5 vs i7 however the difference is much less (to the point where 100MHz of overclock would be more noticeable), but with dual cores the difference is there. If I was in the market for a low-end gaming machine I'd probably go for this or wait for AMD's Piledriver CPUs to hit the desktop:
