My System Specs

Check and see if you have any ghost network adapters....

  • Open command prompt and run the following command: set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1
  • Do not close the command prompt
  • Open Device manager by running the command: start devmgmt.msc
  • In Device Manager, go to View menu and click on option Show Hidden Devices.
  • Got to Network Adapters, It would now lists the hidden phantom network adapters.
Perhaps there is one grabbing up the same IP address as the main NIC is getting.

Dunno, bit of a long shot but I'd check there first.
