 [SOLVED] Samsung monitor odd behaviour.
This afternoon I went to turn on my monitor (Samsung Synchmaster 275tPlus) and upon pressing the power button ( a soft touch with blue led) nothing happened. no power indicator, lo image nothing. Repeated pressing did nothing.
I checked all cables, UPS, etc and nothing was loose of otherwise abnormal. I played with the button a bit more and a few minutes alter the indicator lit and the monitor came on.
Anybody know if this may be a problem beyond just a failing power switch?
I ask becasue Samsung was in court over a similar issue with 7+million TV's in the US this year and they are the exact same vintage as this monitor (common partds?).
I really don't want to have to replace this right now as it would be very costly.
