Default 3 pin fan splitter cables, or fan splitter station (bitspower, fractal etc)?

Wonder what would be the better choice? I don't need a controller, as the noise level won't bother me with these fans running max speed (combination of bitfenix pro 120s, fractal 140s, and noctua p12). I just need more 12v connectors. Which is the better way to go? I'm running a Carbide 500R, and I'm replacing the 3 stock LED fans, and I've added 2 top 140s (fractals) plus a second window 120 (noctua). I've heard the stock fans use a special connector that doesn't accept regular 3 pin fan cables, so I'm checking in advance before I start pulling stuff out.

Thanks!
